Bath Taps

There isn’t a standard size for bath taps. They are available in a wide range of different sizes from compact mono bath taps and wall mounted taps, to large freestanding bath taps designed for use with freestanding baths.

Not every tap will fit every bath. If you have a freestanding bath, you won’t be able to mount the taps to it so you’ll need to install either a freestanding or wall mounted bath tap.

If you know what you’re doing, replacing a set of taps can be relatively easy. However, when water is involved there’s always a chance of leaks and damage, so we’d recommend calling a plumber if you’re not confident.

Tap holes refers to the number of holes in your bath or wall you’ll need for the taps you’ve chosen. Depending on the style of tap you’ve chosen you could need between 1 and 5 tap holes.
