It all depends on what you need...

We actually created The Snapshot as a new 'lighter touch' design service for our customers and it often fits the bill if you don't foresee lots of changes and would like a well-considered & technically sound design/plan to work from, but don't need to see extra details like tiling, wallpaper, plants etc that can bring the space to life visually.

The Big Picture offers exactly that, a beautiful photorealistic vision of your space, and whilst we don't sell tiles or wallpaper or plants or pictures (not yet anyway!), we know that it's the sum of all of these design details that make a house a home and for many, they want help to imagine and visualise what their new bathroom could look like.

It's important to note here that because we don't sell products like tiles and wallpaper, our designers are NOT able to provide advice or recommend any floor or wall coverings but will try their best to replicate what you'd like visually. If you choose The Big Picture it's ideal to bring along any ideas or links to these elements. 

All we need from you to get started are 3 key pieces of information:

1. Full measurements of your space, including placement of doors and windows, plus the overall height of the room. If you have architect plans, that’s fine as long as the measurements are clearly annotated on them for us to work with.

2. A rough idea of your timescales – when do you want to complete your project?

3. Your budget – how much do you want to spend ideally?

4. Plus you can of course share any design inspiration or ideas that you already have!

Your designer will reach out for this information following your booking - the more time they have with this to prepare for your telephone call, the better. 

Yes, we love that! Pinterest boards are our happy place and adding your favourite products to a wishlist on Drench is very helpful to kick start the design process. If you have done any research or planning so far, you'll have the chance to share it with your designer.

As long as we have what we need from you, your new bathroom design will be sent to you within two working days. If you’ve chosen The Big Picture and amends are needed, revised designs are turned around in a similar period, often even faster. To give you an idea of when to kick start your planning, you might want to allow 2-4 weeks to get to your final design and quote, but it all depends on any changes or alternative products to be identified or sourced. We’ll work at your pace!

Yes of course! And we do offer a discounted rate for multiple bathroom designs to reduce your upfront costs (we get that larger house renovations are expensive and somewhat overwhelming!). Of course we'll need a bit more time to create more than one, but can prioritise based on your preference.

Please note: You’ll need to spend £1000 on each bathroom to be eligible for a refund on the The Big Picture design fee, for example with two bathrooms you would need to spend £2000 to get your fee refunded, and with three bathrooms you would need to spend £3000. If your total spend is over the threshold but not weighted at over £1000 per bathroom that is fine, it is calculated on total spend at Drench.

Absolutely, we can work in whichever way suits you - whether that is directly with your installer/architect/interior designer or collaborating with you and them on a call together. Just let us know.

We can often source products not on our website through our network of suppliers so if you can't see what you'd ideally like, just ask and we'll see what we can do!

As you may know, we don't sell tiles at Drench (yet!) so there are some limits to what we can offer here. 

Firstly, whilst we try to replicate any tile selections or general colour schemes you would like to use in your bathroom, due to limitations within our software it isn't always possible to replicate these totally accurately. 

Secondly, because we don't sell tiles, we are unable to provide tile product advice, make any suggestions or help with tile placement/layouts, including tile quantity calculations. Your best bet here is to head to a specialist tile retailer!

Yes our designers are very knowledgeable about the technical aspects of our products and their plumbing/installation requirements.

Sorry, we don't offer installation or recommend installers. Many of our customers find that word of mouth is often the best route to finding a great local tradesperson, whether through friends or contacts on social media or through a trade directory/review site.

You have 12 months from the date of your design purchase to redeem the design fee against qualifying product purchases. After this time, the design fee is no longer refundable.
