Thermostatic Valves

Thermostatic shower valves are probably the most popular type of shower control we supply. They safely and accurately regulate the temperature of the water even when there are changes to the volume of hot or cold water entering the valve. This makes them an excellent choice if you have young children, or indeed anyone else living in your home. If a kitchen tap is turned on, or a toilet flushed, a non-thermostatic shower would likely change temperature very suddenly. A thermostatic shower mixer, however, will automatically adjust the flow of both hot and cold water to ensure you don't notice.

A thermostatic shower valve can be either 'concealed' or 'exposed'. Essentially this refers to whether or not the all-important working parts within the valve are buried in the wall, leaving just a neat control plate on show; or they are contained outside of the wall in a 'bar' shape or similar. Naturally concealed thermostatic shower valves tend to look neater and nicer, but take a little more work to install.
